Step 2: What type of equipment do I need?

Specific equipment requirements do exist in California for shops that wish to register as an ARD. For additional information on this requirement, you may wish to view the applicable California Code of Regulations (CCR) that relate to auto repair facilities (CCR 3351.5 and 3356.6).
