Step 2: How do I renew my Brake/Lamp Station License?

To apply for a renewal of your Brake/Lamp Station License, simply follow these 3 steps:

1. Fill out your renewal notice and mail it to the address listed on the request. If you do not receive your courtesy notice you can write a short letter, including your license number, or make a copy of your license.
2. Include a check or money order for the renewal fee. The fee for renewing your Brake/Lamp Station License is $5 per license type.
3. Mail your fees and renewal request to the address listed below:

Warning: Your renewal request and fees must be submitted to the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) for processing. Submission of insufficient fees will result in a delay in renewing your license.
